The entire Simple Twist of Fate by Jerry Garcia Band from 3/1/1980 absolutely blows me away, especially both Jerry solos..they are completely spellbinding. I played this for my girlfriend, who doesn't even really listen to the Dead and is a classically trained musician, and she was amazed by his playing on this as well. We both described it as singing with a guitar. It's beautiful...the youtube is in two parts but the sugarmegs one you will have to listen to a lot before you get to it so give the youtube a shot first.

Thanks, that Jerry Garcia Band really hit the spot. Sometimes I don't listen to enough of them, and I absolutely love this song - Simple Twist of Fate. I have the Pure Jerry release, from Sept 89 Merriweather Pavillion and it has a brilliant version I sometimes listen to that song multiple times in a row in the car.
